System improvements, upgrades and projects
We are continuously working to maintain and improve the water system. Some of the major projects we are currently working on involve the installation of new, or the replacement of existing, equipment and facilities needed to provide safe, reliable water service.
Main Replacement in Stratford, CT: South Avenue and Hamilton Avenue
We will be replacing 2,860 feet of main on South Ave and Hamilton Ave beginning on April 15th, 2024. Due to construction, customers should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by July of 2024. Final paving will be scheduled in coordination with the town and state.
